Authors from developing countries for whom the publishing fee for research articles presents a barrier are encouraged to apply to the MHTF for financial support or to apply for the normal PLoS fee waiver.

If the publishing fee for research articles presents a barrier and you would like to apply to the MHTF for financial support, please simply select the PLoS fee waiver when submitting your article and this will constitute a successful application for financial support.
